All Shook Up

On Friday I went to see the Chronicles of Narnia with the two J's in my life. I picked a seat beside an old couple near the middle. But that wasn't cool enough for either of the J's, so they made me move to the back. Which was of course near kooky teenagers who enjoyed giving play by play commentary on every item that flashed on the screen. Jeremy, being the charming lad that he is, was quick to tell them to shut up once the commericals were through. (Amanda you would have been proud).

As the big battle scene in the movie began, our seats started to vibrate. It had been a while since I'd seen an action movie in the theatre. I didn't know they had installed Surround Vibrations. It was either that or, the people behind us were really upset because of Jeremy's antics. Nope. It turned out Ottawa had an earthquake! Crazy. It only lasted 30 seconds. It was awesome. I don't know what those people in California are on about it. It really made it feel like we were in the movie (ala Days of Thunder at Canada's Wonderland).

I saw Belle and Sebastian last night. We pussied-out and sat for the show. I miss dancing and watching Jeremy sway like a milk maid. Nonetheless, they were awesome just like that earthquake.
