Chop-Chop FINALLY!
So it has only been two and a half months since we (aka Jeremy) called about Deady. The city FINALLY chopped him down. A couple weeks ago someone spray painted an X on him. I wasn't sure if it was the kids in the neighbourhood mistaking 1213 as the ghetto or the City being inefficent (since it took a minimum of 3 city officials to verify that a rotting tree without any leaves was dead). Regardless, Deady has met his intended fate.
We now have another horrible problem in our front yard - a killer squirrel. I have never seen the squirrel, who I will call Squirrely from now on, kill anything. However, it is the size of a CAT. Any squirrel the size of a cat has to be a killer. I had trouble sleeping last night because I was worried Squirrely will try and kill me as I'm walking to work. How else did he get that big?
