How I've been spending my days

My sister came up to visit for Canada Day. I think she had fun. On the day itself, we were set to meet some of Jeremy's friends at the Eternal Flame at 3 O'Clock. We made it to the flame at 2:50 as it started to spit. Then sprinkle. Then rain. Then pour. Then hail. (Yes HAIL!) Jeremy suggested at 2:55 we find shelter but I thought it would be rude if we ditched his friends for some mere shelter. We were tough. We were Canadians. PLUS every one else seemed to have gone in search of shelter, so we were easy to spot. At 2:56, the streets started to flood, hail began to pound my head hard and Jeremy's umbrella bent in half. I reluctantly concede that perhaps Jeremy's finding shelter idea was ok.

After the rain ended, we met up with his friends. We walked around down town coming to realize that government Canada Day activities, like the Tulip Festival and Winterlude activities before it, were designed for children. I got sick of wringing cups of water out of my clothing every 15 minutes for the past 2 hours and decided to bail on the fire works.

I've begun to compose a list of my cd's. Originally I intended to just keep track of my "cool" ones but this site allows you to trade and sell your crappy cd's. So far its worth $4,657. Everyone should join! It is exciting, time consuming, and addictive!

When the site is busy, I've been amusing myself at this site. It keeps track of the last 20 pictures uploaded to live journal. Just keep hitting reload (and reload and reload) and see how fucked up people really are! Or at least how fucked up people really are that post pictures to live journal! It is surprising how many people like to post naked pictures of themselves (or people they wish were themselves). It is also exciting, time consuming, and addictive!
