Laurie Meets the Bog People
Soooooooo........today I met the Bog People. They are dead people who were burried in Bogs a long long time ago. They were discovered by people who harvested Peat Moss. I will call them Moss People because it sounds neat. The Moss People were digging in Bogs for peat moss and discovered thousands of dead people. That must have been pretty scary because the bogs kept these fine societal members perserved. I think it was kind of interesting. Sarah, however, was unimpressed with the rubbing rock display, the City of Gatineau joining us on the tour, and the long lines to watch videos of how people today tried to live like people back then. It was very sad. One bog person had the same colour hair as mine. I think we might be soulmates. You may think it is silly but many people base soulmatedness on LAME things like music, drinks, books, feelings or orgasms. At least hair colour isn't lame. It is practical. Plus we won't have a warped sense of ourselves once we've parted because she is already dead. Our period of depression, alcoholism, and meaningless sex with random strangers is over because it never begun.
I think Amanda should travel to North West England and dig herself up a soulmate as well.
Rock on,
