Eye Soars
I've begun a relatively alcohol-free week. Last weekend I got so drunk that crazy things happen (most of which I don't know because I don't remember and my friends think its best that I don't).
So I've been doing more things which don't require the need for a drink in one hand. For example, the other day I decided to replace the burnt out lights on our chandelier that have been out for the past couple of months. Bad idea. Upon turning it on, one of the lights caught on fire. Lights just aren't suppose to do that, even if the light bulb resembles the shape of a flame. My roommate and I managed to get it out after much debate. Our landlord replaced it with some cheap ass light that hisses on occassion when its turned on.
At school they always liked to emphasis the importance of Team Work in business so I joined the Christmas Decorating Committee at work. WAY FUN. Actually, I never realized how FUCKING ugly Christmas decorations were until I had to put up a shitload of tacky things. I think this is the underlying reason why Christmas puts people in a bad mood. Its the ugly decorations. You spend an entire month being blinded by crap and then on Christmas day the presents just don't make up for it.
This weekend I saw two overrated movies: 24 Hour Party People and Far From Heaven. However, being accompanied by two fantastic people more than made up for the movies overrated-ness. I also got Rheostatics tickets!
