FTE
I became a full time permenant gov't employee on Wednesday. It all happened so fast, something the gov't isn't exactly known for. I was given a lecture about how just because I have a full time job, I should continue my education. It was kind of nice to have someone actually encouraging me to go back to school...when the vast majority of my friends and family mock me for wanting to doing so.
Now that I'm a FTE (Full Time Employee..that's my new nickname at work), I've begun to notice things on my route to work since I don't have to spend my rides worrying about money and life. The other day I noticed a woman shovelling snow. Only there was no snow. She was just shovelling pavement. And the pavement wasn't moving. I was going to tell her that but then I realized maybe she getting paid for it.
