I'm Soooooo Much Cooler Now (And It Shows)

Guess what? I'm moving up in the world. I was told yesterday at work that I'll be moving to a bigger cubicle. Because I work for the government rewarding good behaviour with monetary bonuses is nonexistance. So instead they reward people with bigger cubicles. In the office world people often equate this to getting a fancier car. This is very exciting. It is exciting because this new cubicle is right beside the printer, photocopier AND yes, THE FAX MACHINE. No more walking past 4 other cubicles to get to these hot commodities. Fuck that shit. Laurie's too cool for that now. No more worrying about other people getting the porn I print off the internet from the printer before I. Actually, I don't print off porn...but if I do this will come in handy. This goes to show you how much of a positive impact I've made at work. I'm well on may on becoming indispensable. What's next after moving to a bigger cubicle? A window cubicle. Imagine?!?!

Yesterday Laura and I crossed the street. Pretty crazy, eh? What makes this story more crazy is that some guy decided it would be GREAT to step on the gas and try to run us over. Luckily we made it to the sidewalk before he made contact. (Not because we were fast walkers, but because we were already pretty close to the sidewalk). But he was set on instilling fear in us so he began to aim his car towards the sidewalk. I make a bet he noticed the happy step in my walk and was jealous about me getting a new cubicle. (Trust me. It is oh so obvious the way I carry myself these days). I make a bet he's been stuck in the same shitty cubicle his entire employment life. Laura, who has trouble maintaining her cool like I, decided to give this guy the finger. Fingering is fine when people aren't aiming FUCKING cars at you. I wittedly said, "Laura!! Remember what happened last time you did that?"

Yes. What happened last time Laura, the pedestrian, was a little too friendly with a driver? We were in mid-high school and these guys in a van chased us around the Newmarket Plaza for an hour. We were forced to hid out in various stores. It was quite terrifying.

Anyways, I guess the driver last night realized we had Ninja friends and backed off when the light changed. Thank god, for Ninja friends.
